Thanksgiving...holiday of rich, warm hues and heavy, delicious food! How we love Thanksgiving!
 This year, DJS has been exploring different ways of seeing this holiday...of putting a different spin on the traditional and expected. In our last post, we spoke about centerpieces and touched on color, in this post we'll draw inspiration from our imagination to bring you some stunning ideas for your color palette.
It's all about ambiance, baby. So let's get started.

Cobalt Blue + Sunny Orange

For a look that's fresh but not overdone, choose one (we prefer Cobalt) and use the other as an accent.

Hang some blue star lanterns over your table for a gorgeous glow...

Blue glass + blue beads= dreamy and bold

Throw in some Chrysanthemums for a eye-catching surprise

Next color combo:

StonyTurquoise + Muted Pink
 

Wanna lay low and create a dreamy, sweet Thanksgiving for your guests? This is the color combo for you!
Your can also add pops of bright pink if you want some pizzazz.

While these are staged rooms, you can take ideas from the wall colors and the added white accessories.

  

Hang one of these over your table, or place it at the head of the table (not in the middle or else others won't be able to one another) and place fresh flowers, pine cones and bark inside:

Pop in some lavender and moss green here and there and you have one gorgeous, rich color combo.
