As always, DJS Events would like to share our opinion on what we thought about the decor and design of the 2013 Oscar's After Parties...

Absolutely LOVED the lighting and linens, which complimented each other very well. Also found the flowers that appeared to be growing out of the glass cocktail tables to be very creative.

The layout and chandelier were fantastic, but seemed a bit too formatted. The chairs would have made a huge impact if they were clear or ice ballroom chairs. The lighting would have made them pop and look as if they were glowing from within. We also would have loved to see more elegant furniture, such as tufted couches and some round ottomans with a center backing piece. See visuals of our options below:
'Vanity Fair' Oscar Party
Huge fan of the green and white "red carpet" entrance outside of the venue. Creative and glamorous.

Guests received a zippo lighter with a famous quote engraved on it. This was cute.

What a disaster this is. Big silver balls, red
everywhere, white orchids and a cluttered ceiling of lighting that was just
hideous…

LOVE LOVE LOVE the "Life is Beautiful" sculpture outside of the venue. Not sure what the paper flower wall is supposed to signify, it seems random. We would have used a glamorous chandelier in the ballroom to go with the common theme of the 2013 Oscar's.
